Spanish and Latin American Research Seminar

The Departmental Research Seminar meets 3-4 times per Semester. It provides a forum for research across the whole of Hispanic Studies. Papers are invited from current research students and members of academic staff, and from visiting speakers. All meetings are on Tuesdays, except where noted.

Term 1

Tuesday 27 September 2016, Susana Gala Pellicer (AUGE) on "Miedo, odio y deseo: la hechicera Vicenta Gracia ante la Inquisición (1600)", at 5p.m. in Bancroft 106.

MONDAY 3 October 2016, Ricardo Rato Rodrigues (QMUL), Mark Francis (University of Edinburgh) and Fabrício Tavares de Moraes (QMUL) will be conducting a seminar on the Portuguese writer António Lobo Antunes, at 5pm in Arts Two 3.20

FRIDAY 21 October 2016, Ana Luísa Amaral on "On writing and translating poetry (Shakespeare, Dickinson)", at 5p.m., in ArtsOne Lecture Theatre.
