Dr Pedro Antonio Férez Mora is a lecturer in the Department of Didactics of Language and Literature at the University of Murcia, in Spain. His research interests include: neobaroque tendencies in Latin American poetry, especially in the works of José Lezama Lima, Néstor Perlongher, and Severo Sarduy. Dr Férez Mora is also part of a research project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Education, working on the conceptualization of queer peripheries in the arts, focusing on the transgressive narrative of American author Dennis Cooper, establishing parallels between Cooper's murderous plots and mysticism. Concerning didactics, Dr Férez Mora is mainly interested in the role of affect, literature and critical pedagogies in foreign language learning. He is a visiting academic in Iberian and Latin American Studies (Oct-Nov 2015).
